Amidst bright pillars of light, models including Anja Rubik, Shu-Pei Qin, Lisanne De Jong, Lara Stone, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Frida Gustavsson, Elsa Sylvan, Snejana Onopka, Magdalena Frackowiak, and Dorothea Barth Jorgensen took over the runways to show off Karl Lagerfeld’s newest Chanel Couture collection, which he describes as “Neon Baroque.”

As the current face of the house, Claudia Schiffer sat front row to watch, and she’s already planning her return to modeling post giving birth.

But backstage, Heidi Mount took a second to Twitter a picture of her hair, which was slightly McQueen-esque from the front. Turn around and a bit of love was shown, as the girl’s coifs were styled into hearts.

Abbey Lee Kershaw closed the show as the bride, alongside none other than Bapstiste Giabiconi, showing off a dress that took 1,300 hours to create. We’re swooning over the silver shoes, which racked up 30 hours of work per pair! Interestingly enough, Karl seemed to tone down his show as the set was minimal, allowing the focus to really remain on his chosen models and the fashion creations.
