The fashion world can always expect to find some of fashion’s most avant-garde designs at Alexandre Herchcovitch, but what we didn’t expect to find was an unbelievable model line-up! Kelsey Van Mook, Ruby Aldridge, Tao Okamoto, Kate Somers, and Lisanne De Jong all walked the runway at Herchcovitch’s brilliantly colorful show. Dressed in heavily draped and boxy dresses, each colorful ensemble was complete with a matching lipstick (yes lipsticks in both blue and green), and dyed hair that was pulled back into a slick bun. We were particularly entranced by the graphic tetris-like pattern first worn by Kelsey that seamlessly tied the collection’s mishmash of colors together. And while we’re unsure about the wear-ability of the collection, the bright bursts of color were a refreshing change next to the otherwise pale palette we’ve seen at this season’s Fashion Week. ~ Sonia Evers
