Pre-Fall Model Pairings

While the Kaiser heralded his girls to China for the Chanel Pre-Fall show, other designers are sticking close to home. Here in New York it’s all Pre-Fall focus, and there are more than a few interesting model pairings.

Alexander Wang snagged Liu Wen—quite the follow up to her first Victoria’s Secret moment. Fellow VS newbies Aminata Niaria posed for Michael Kors, while Dorothea Barth Jorgensen took on the Russian look at Oscar de la Renta alongside Siri Tollerød and Ali Michael.

Diane von Furstenberg hired Ali Stephens, complete with her new darker locks, and Christopher Bailey chose Lisanne De Jong—who walked exclusively for Prada in Milan—for the Burberry look. Carolina Herrera put Rianne Ten Haken in her bright frocks, and Jac was the look for Calvin Klein. Olga Sherer worked for both Narciso Rodriguez and Calvin Klein, while Jacquelyn Jablonski dressed up in Thakoon and Versace went with bold colors and Charlotte di Calypso. Zac Posen hired Anna Cleveland, who he also worked with during Fashion’s Night Out. Here’s hoping that pairing turns into a larger designer-model love!
