The votes are in, which means it’s time to meet this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue ‘Rookie of the Year:’ the stunning Kate Bock! The 22-year-old blonde bombshell ranked number one among this year’s Rookie class, taking in a whopping 41% of the votes, to follow in the footstep of Kate Upton and last year’s winner, Nina Agdel!
Hailing from Vancouver, Kate was first discovered while competing at a swim meet in West Vancouver, although these days she’s just as likely to be caught snowboarding as she is lounging around the beach in a two-piece. For her SI Swim debut, Kate — a.k.a Bocker, Bockster, or Katie Kate— traveled to Easter Island, Chile where photographer David Burton had the chance to capture the blue-eyed beauty in all of her bikini glory. And what a great job she did!
