Tailoring Gets Some Richard Chai Love

Fashion Week is in full swing, and Thursday morning started off just right at Richard Chai Love. Runway regulars Hanne Gaby Odiele, Alana Zimmer, Iris Strubegger, and Anabela Belikova gave good face as soon-to-be superstars Frida Gustavsson, Jacquelyn Jablonski, and Shu Pei Qin left a major impression. Suvi Koponen, who’s kept a fairly low profile the past few seasons, rocked the ’90s-inspired threads effortlessly and Anastasia Kuznetsova continued her closing streak. The clothes were Japanese streetwear meets fine tailoring with tons of grunge and glitter. As Chai put it, “A little sparkle is always nice.” We absolutely agree. ~ Tim Mitchell
