After Karlie Kloss‘ breathtaking opening straight out of the midst at the Spring 2010 Christian Dior show, expectations were high for Dior’s Fall showing.
But true to her talent, and the brilliance of the designer, Karlie stole the runway yet again, as she opened the collection themed, The Seduction of the Libertine, to the sound of horses and thunder. Following Karlie’s opening moment, the entire cast of models held their own individual power on the runway, including Maryna Linchuk, Rose Cordero, Heidi Mount, Bianca Balti, Lisanne De Jong, Chanel Iman, and Coco Rocha!
Maybe we’ve been watching too much of Betty Draper riding horses in Mad Men, or maybe the sport is coming back into style, but Galliano and the house of Dior has us convinced that equestrian looks and ruffles, paired with over the knee boots go together oh, so perfectly.
