This morning we’ve been playing Rihanna’s new music video, Te Amo, on repeat and it’s not just because we love her musical stylings. It seems Rihanna has been paying attention to her model history and fashion editorials, because French supermodel Laetitia Casta plays a major role in the 3 minute short!
Rihanna and her model co-star took over a 16th-century castle on the outskirts of Vigny Paris in late April to work with director Anthony Mandler for the video, and their hard work is finally available for all to see! Between the soft lighting and costumes, there’s a slight Moulin Rouge feel to the filming and style choices, but beyond all, we’re thrilled that Rihanna’s seemingly spoken her mind about model power by giving Laetitia such a starring role!
