For the New York premiere of The Runaways, Riley Keough had no reason to be nervous. Her fellow models were there to show their support - from Alessandra Ambrosio to Doutzen Kroes to Julie Henderson.
The screening, hosted by Tommy Hilfiger and Quintessentially, was held downtown at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema, and a mix of rocker chicks, music fans, and fashion insiders came to check out the film, and its stars including Riley, Kristen Stewart, and Dakota Fanning. “The movie was great!” said Doutzen afterwards. “It was interesting to see the story since these girls have had such an impact on music today.”
After raiding her mother’s closet and finding a vintage Gucci dress to wear to the LA premiere, Riley stuck with her all-black look but chose a bold shouldered dress by Guilty Brotherhood for the East coast evening.
Once guests took their seats, it was a trip back in time thanks to the fashions of the era and musical stylings of The Runaways, but the party wasn’t over just yet. The film’s stars moved the festivities to the Bowery Hotel Terrace for a late night of music meets fashion.
