Sexy Rosa Cha gave us a reason to dream about summer, since the September weather on the first day of Fashion Week felt more like late October. Brazilian-cut bikinis weren’t the focus of this collection, as Alexandre Herchcovitch gave his girls a more retro look to rock—complete with sunnies and head wraps that looked super ’50s and fabulous. Chanel Iman opened the show in a high-waisted two-piece bikini with crystal appliqués that stole our attention, while Lakshmi Menon proved that one-pieces can really be refreshing and cool. Fresh from Ports 1961, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Tao Okamoto took on their bathing suit babe moment, and Modelinia noticed our very own High Heel Boot Camp grad Ataui Deng looking oh so fab in her Rosa Cha. “I just felt so hot! I was nervous, but I had shades on so that helped a lot!” You’ve come a long way, baby.
