When it comes to headline-nabbing style, one can always count on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her effortlessly chic attire to steal the show. But it was what was lying underneath the model’s ladylike wide-brimmed hat and usual cozy sweater that really had us buzzing.
While hitting Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive shops yesterday— presumably scouting looks for this weekend’s Oscars— the British supermodel was spotted showing off some fresh ink as well as a lighter, blonder new do! Appearing on the inside of her left wrist, the new tat is that of a small hummingbird, which is said to be a sign of love, harmony and energy. Of course, this isn’t the first time that Rosie has gone the route of permanent body art, as she also famously boasts a small heart on the side of her right wrist, keeping up the tattoo trend that seems to be sweeping over our favorite gaggle of catwalkers.
But model ink aside, it was Rosie’s tresses that seem to have caused the biggest stir. In a surprising change of pace, the stunner took her locks from glossy caramel to near platinum blonde, debuting the new look on the cover of Spanish Vogue’s special 25th anniversary March issue earlier this week. Shot by photographer Michelangelo Di Battista, Rosie looks every bit a Hollywood starlet while posing in a series of looks by Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, and Christian Louboutin, no doubt giving a whole new meaning to the term golden girl!
We are head-over-heels for Rosie’s gorgeous new look and with the Oscars a mere 48-hours away, we can’t wait to see what the red carpet stunner has in store for us this year. Can’t wait for Sunday? Check out more of Rosie’s winning style here!
