If ever in doubt, we can always rely on Jill Stuart to produce a sophisticated, elegant, and chic collection with silhouettes that flatter the figure and are 100% wearable. This season featured an assortment of feminine and flirty silhouettes made up of pastel sherbet tones. The soft colors looked particularly stunning juxtaposed against Ruby Aldridge’s auburn brown hair as she first appeared in orangey-red silk pants and a peach top and jacket with sea foam green accents. Ruby who’s been in high-demand this Fashion Week must have come sprinting from Lacoste as she walked in it only minutes before Jill Stuart. It always amazes us what the beauty team and models can accomplish with only a few minutes to spare!
Monika “Jac” Jagaciak opened the show in a drop-waist dress with a flowy skirt on the bottom and zig-zag pattern on top and Suzie Bird soon followed in a lemon yellow oxford blouse and matching pleated skirt. Anais Pouillot, Constance Jablonski and Andie Arthur also walked the show, all styled with loose, wavy hair swept to the side and complemented by bright pink lips and smoky eyes. While different than anything else we’ve seen this Fashion Week, Jill Stuart has us anxiously awaiting next spring so that we can get our hands on her newest collection.
