Run Away with Selita and Kanye

Given the trending topics on Saturday evening, (Kanye West, Selita Ebanks, and Runaway) we’re pretty sure the early portion of everyone’s night was spent on the couch watching the premiere of Runaway - ours included. The thirty minute film is a highly impressive showing of creativity and talent, from the musical direction to the stunning costumes to the acting ability of the lovely Selita. But while Kanye clearly didn’t disappoint his fans, in our opinion, Selita was the quiet yet powerful player by displaying a masterful range of talent in the film. Decorated in over-the-top wings, a barely there costume, and fingertip accessories, Selita took her role as the phoenix to a brilliant level, using movement and posing in order to display feelings - a skill from a true supermodel. Therefore, we think it’s about time for a second (or third, or forth, or fifth) viewing.
