Joseph Altuzarra’s spring collection was praised for it’s cape/coat hybrids inspired by the way fashion editors wore jackets over their shoulders. This collection was an ode to powerful women, and perhaps to the french editrix Carinne Roitfeld. This was power dressing at its finest. Leather was used for body-con dresses, turtlenecks and or course a good motorcycle jean. Of course, draped over all the sumptuous leather were black and white furs that girl would dream of, but only the most powerful of women could wear. Kasia Struss commanded the runway in the biggest fur of all. We also saw Aymeline Valade, Kel Markey, Sigrid Agren, and Daria Strokous. Altuzarra has a few killer collections under his belt now, and he means business.
