Project Runway fans, the wait is over!
Tonight at 9 PM on Lifetime, the 9th season of the reality TV show begins, with the most designers in the show’s history! Twenty hopefuls will work hard to sew their way into Heidi Klum’s heart, but only a lucky and talented 16 will remain after the very first show.
While tonight’s premiere serves as an introduction to the newest designers, it will also provide a peek into Heidi’s very revealing new poster. ”[Photographer] Robert Erdmann shot my Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover way back when, and he also shot this image,” said Heidi. “He’s great at making women feel confident and sexy. I love how this poster turned out and I love how Lifetime is pushing the envelope.”
This season, Project Runway’s turning to Twitter, by allowing fans to vote for their favorite through 140 characters. Each designer has their own dedicated hashtag, and every Tweet will serve as a vote for the designer’s chance to win $10,000 as the fan favorite.
