
Artists Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne have garnered great success among fashion elite, with commissions from icons like Karl Lagerfeld and Hubert de Givenchy. Now art and fashion aficionados alike will get a chance to enjoy their surrealistic sculpture.
Come next year, the French duo are set to hold a retrospective at Les Arts Décoratifs in Paris beginning March 18, 2010. Among the works on display will be a bust of Veruschka, the six-foot tall goddess of a model who stormed the ’60s and ’70s fashion scene and played muse for the late Yves Saint Laurent.
