Marc Bouwer has a thing for over the top runway experiences. He’s dressed up Candice Swanepoel and Lydia Hearst to act out his futuristic videos, but for Fall 2011, Selita Ebanks was the muse of choice. Guest crammed into the Soho House on Sunday night for a first look at Selita and Marc’s latest creation - a 3D trip through the universe. In groups, party goers filed into the screening room and popped on 3D glasses, before languishing in the screening room’s individual chairs. Once Selita’s 3D image took to the screen, all conversations were put aside, considering the rapt attention the audience was paying towards her every movement. Though under 5 minutes in length, Selita manages to take the viewer through the galaxy, into the woods, and around the world, proving her otherworldly beauty. ~ Bianca Posterli
