Modelinia fell in love with Selita Ebanks‘ outfit for Maxim’s December issue event, specifically her opera gloves. We were so enamored we made sure her accessory of choice made it into our Accessories Under $100 slideshow as part of our gift guide. But interestingly enough, we learned that Selita’s gloves were out of a necessity rather than glove adoration. You see, earlier that day she had been baking banana upside-down cupcakes and burned her ring finger on her right hand. Instead of canceling her plans, she did what any good model would do: improvise. One night it was a pair of opera gloves, the next she wore a giant cocktail ring for a night out on the town, and when she made her Morning Show appearance for CW11, she played it off with a giant pink Band-Aid. Nothing like using accessories to hide injuries.
