On all accounts, Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2010 couture show was a spectacle to experience.
For a front row including Inès de la Fressange as well as Liya Kebede and her children, Raee and Suhul, Dita Von Teese started the party with a little bit of her own personal performing talents. After the crowd was successfully intrigued, show opener Karlie Kloss took off down with her signature stare and strut followed by Sessilee Lopez, Joan Smalls, Alana Zimmer, and couture maven Georgina Stojiljkovic to show off a return to early ’20s elegance with long stemmed cigarette holders and over the top turbans. But it was Anne Vyalitsyna we were watching out for, since it was her first couture experience! In a moment of gasps, Anne lost both shoes, but like a total pro kept up her walk and proved her model expertise.
