Julie Henderson has made a serious stamp on the world thanks to her multiple appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues, and if you’re anything like Modelinia, you’ve fallen in lust with Julie because of her seriously down to Earth and bubbly personality. Now she’s ready for an entirely new realm of possibilities in her career, as the gorgeous model is transitioning her way from modeling to acting. Julie recently replaced Padma Lakshmi as the Real Texan for Hardee’s Texas Toast Bacon Cheese Thickburger commercial and appeared in an episode of The Rachel Zoe Project, but that’s just the beginning. Modelinia chatted with Julie about her future plans in the world of scripts, actors, and silver screen goals.
What made you want to move into TV?
TV is always one of the next natural steps from modeling. When I was asked to be a part of Rachel Zoe’s show I could not say no if I wanted to take my career to the next level. Appearing in the Hardee’s commercial was a perfect fit for me, a Texan girl promoting the new Texas Toast Bacon Cheese Thickburger. I was excited to begin my television career in a very organic natural setting!
What are your goals for your future in TV or film?
Film has always been a goal of mine, being part of a major production would be so amazing!
What would a dream project be?
I would love to be the next Bond girl, it is time they have an American Bond girl…it’s been a while. I would also be awesome to be an angel in Charlie’s Angels.
Do you have an acting coach?
Unfortunately with my busy schedule its hard to take a steady acting class but when I have to act I hire someone to go over my lines and do some acting exercises.
Was this always a dream of yours?
As a child I never dreamt I would be on TV, now it is definitely a field I am pursuing!
