After sitting in the makeup chair for what accumulates to hours of their lives, models are the ones who know which products work and the best choices for the money. They shared with us their top picks, and we certainly love to pass on their knowledge.

“Lip gloss, for one. I guess any kind but clear. I don’t like to wear too much. And Embryolisse, this moisturizer they sell only in Paris, which is so rich and amazing.” As for mascara? “Revlon or CoverGirl—something that you can get at a drugstore.”
Julia Stegner
Ever the Maybelline girl, Julia uses their Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer and Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Washable Mascara. Plus, “I always need some kind of lip balm,” she says. “I always have chapstick with me!”

“I actually like the Pantene hairspray, and their pump hairspray is really good. They come in trial sizes, so it’s good for when you’re traveling. And Carmex—I always loved that red top yellow bottom. I’m serious! Oh, and I love Christine Chin products, I’m a huge fan of her. I go to her every month. She’s the one who saves me.”
Irina Panteava
“Well, I use Carol Alt’s Raw Essentials line that she came up with. It’s all raw, organic. Coming from another part of the world in Siberia and Russia that’s how I grew up, using natural products. And I use pretty much everything from Kiehl’s. I love their facial scrubs and facials now that the summer is here, and their body creams. I also like Bliss and their Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Masks.
Patricia Velasquez
Patricia’s picks are easy on the budget. She prefers the Shisheido Eyelash Curler, Almay’s Eye Makeup Remover Pads, non oily, and body cream by Neutrogena.
