Hats are not quite everyone’s thing. You have to have the right head shape, the perfect face for it, and of course the outfit to match. But with these new looks by Maison Michel and the very hefty roster for the Fall ’09 lookbook to match, we’re huge fans.
The brand brought together models Sasha Pivovarova, Milla Jovovich, Anouck Lepère, Angela Lindvall, Kemp Muhl with her boyfriend Sean Lennon, Heidi Mount, Erin Wasson, and Lara Stone, along with Lou Dillon, Olivier Theyskens, and Olivier Zahm, to pose for the newest collection. Here’s an interesting match to say the least: Maison Michel’s artistic director, Laetitia Crahay, is the head of accessories at Chanel, who’s face is Sasha, who was photographed for this lookbook by Karl Lagerfeld, who designs for Chanel. Phew.
