Erin Fetherston and Dolce & Gabbana must have been dreaming the same fashion dreams: of bows and embellished miniskirts this season, because just look at the similarity. Erin, inspired by The Nutcracker’s tin soldiers, sent Siri Tollerød down the runway in a tucked jacket with a exaggerated light purple skirt. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana quoted Maria Callas’s Norma as their muse, and sent Anna Jagodzinska down the runway in this darker D&G lampshade skirt with a giant bow. Has the recession inspired girly, whimsical looks paired with darker tones?
