Supermodels and the Big Bucks

The Forbes Celebrity 100 List hits the Web next week, but here’s a preview of the beauties who made the cut based on their hard work. Returning to No. 1 is Gisele Bündchen with an estimated $25 million in earnings over the past year, closely followed by Heidi Klum at $16 million. Kate Moss holds her spot in the top five thanks to her deal with Topshop, trailed by Adriana Lima with Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio tied for fifth. It may be a recession, but that hasn’t affected the industry’s love for their supermodels. “The models that possess that beauty are the faces everyone wants right now, but that’s a rare beauty,” said Chris Gay, president of Marilyn Agency.

And while the list is dominated by many of the same faces, there is a new girl who made the ranks this year. Emanuela De Paula came in at No. 11, for her work with Next and Victoria’s Secret.
