During her career as a model, Erin Wasson has drawn inspiration from a variety of sources, but for her brand new Low Luv collection, the model turned designer is taking strength from a tour of powerful symbols of the world.

From Native American symbols to Middle Eastern designs, Erin got creative with thunderbirds and Evil Eyes, then paired in a bit of a musical note as well, thanks to inspiration from Oum Kalthoum, the Star of the East. “I usually design what I find interesting and powerful,” she said. “I want pieces that look intense and have meaning.”

Thus her Spring/Holiday collection was born, which features rings, chandelier earrings, pendants, crosses, and Evil Eye bracelets in true Wasson style. As for the lookbook, it’s clear that Erin and her jewelry can stand alone. By replicating the feel of Nefertiti, photographer Paola Kudacki captured Erin and her gems in a selection of poses that are nothing if not queen-like.
