East met West with an infusion of Kill Bill inspiration on the Vera Wang runway for Spring. Models including Hanne Gaby Odiele and Jacquelyn Jablonski strutted down the catwalk with major beehive updos, showing off a collection that included harem pants as well as boleros, jumpsuits, and kimono styles. Taking a darker turn with hints of eggplants, forest greens, and deep oranges, paired with the dark blue runway, the collection played on elegance while still being fashion-forward and fun - a welcome, more somber note to the excess of white over the past week. ~ Bianca Posterli
