We’re used to seeing scantily clad models frolicking around the world’s best beaches—but here are some ladies who like to bundle up and hit the slopes. See where Heidi Klum, Kate Moss, and Claudia Schiffer take their ski-style at these most luxurious winter resorts.

Of course the Germany-born Heidi Klum is an expert skier, but her love of the mountains goes beyond just the black diamond. On Christmas Eve 2004, Heidi and Seal were helicoptered into the Fairmont Chateau in Whistler where the resort had an igloo built specifically for Seal to propose to his model love. Of course, the rest is history; the pair now has four children and continues their family ski tradition each year.

No one brings style to the ski mountain like Kate Moss. The woman who likes only the finest things in life wears a Prada ski jumpsuit and Tom Ford sunglasses as she gets some exercise on the hills of Switzerland, Courchevel, and stateside in Aspen at the celeb-filled Little Nell Hotel.

Claudia Schiffer might be the most glamorous of all when it comes to mountain lodging. In the Swiss resort town of St. Moritz, Schiffer is a member of the private Badrutt’s Palace that has entertained such guests as Marlene Dietrich, Brigitte Bardot, and Greta Garbo over the years. Schiffer stays in the Hans Badrutt Suit where you get views of the Engadine Mountains from your Italian marble bathroom, right next to the drawing room complete with a grand piano. We’re sure that they must include some ski-lessons there too.
