Lily Donaldson posing in the Fashion’s Night Out T-shirt began the hype, and now Liya Kebede has been snapped by Patrick Demarchelier accessorizing the shirt with an embellished blazer and massive headpiece.
And while the excitement has been mounting for September 10 for quite some time now, the night just continues to get better and better.
So far Cindy Crawford, Karolina Kurkova, and Stephanie Seymour are the models set to appear in support of the initiative and the list of stores participating has grown to 700 from all five boroughs. Anna Wintour and Michael Kors will sign shirts at the Queens Center, where guests will have a preview performance to Hair; Payless will provide shuttle service via Gray Line double-decker buses, while Aveda is sponsoring pedicabs (how NYC appropriate); Barneys has not only both Olsens in attendance, but their bartending skills as well; Chanel will show off their new jade nail polish with guest DJ Alexa Chung, while Poppy King will use her lipstick knowledge to provide lip-readings; plus there will be salsa and knitting lessons, a cook-off, and fashion games. Not to mention Hamish Bowles on the piano.
Can we clone ourselves? Because that night will just be too much fun to miss out on anything.
