Riccardo Tisci drew major model attention on the Givenchy runway, providing more than a little excitement regarding his muses of choice. With 43 looks and 43 models, it was clear that the catwalk would hold more than one thrilling piece of news to report. And between the buttoned-up but sexy style and Riccardo’s mavens, Givenchy’s Fall 2011 collection was one to remember.
After most people run a marathon, they opt for a combination of rest and relaxation, but not Natalia Vodianova. At 11 AM, the supermodel ran a half marathon in support of her charity, the Naked Heart Foundation, then took off for the Palais de Tokyo to prep for the Givenchy Fall 2011 show, which began at 8pm! Talk about an impressive Sunday afternoon.
Joining Natalia was a host of Victoria’s Secret models including Candice Swanepoel, Izabel Goulart, Liu Wen, and Adriana Lima, as well as show closer Karen Elson, Hilary Rhoda, and Natasha Poly! But amidst the high powered models, there was one fresh face to note - newcomer Lydia Willemina Collins. The Australia beauty was originally scouted three years ago in her mother’s tattoo parlor, but decided to wait to begin her career. And with a Givenchy exclusive, she launched her modeling moments, complete with a brand new head of red locks, thanks to Givenchy’s hair stylist Luigi Murenu.
