If you haven’t heard of the fashion line IRO, then listen up. With their design sensibility and model appreciation, you’re sure to love the collections.
Brothers Laurent Bitton and Arik Bitton launched IRO in 2004 after working in the music business for a period of time. From tunes to clothes, the brothers found their love and passion in fashion and decided to launch their own line. The collection mixes extra-short looks “but never improper” with retro feels, which ends up looking like a wardrobe that anyone would want to own.
As for their model appreciation, last season the duo chose Caroline Winberg to show off their Fall collection, and this season it’s all about Constance Jablonski. “We chose to work with Constance for our SS10 look book shoot because we were looking for a romantic face,” explains the brothers. “We really like to break the ‘rock & roll’ look, and Constance really has something of a ‘Chloé’ style: chic, feminine. Working with her was definitely a success and a great joy—we’ve never had so many requests from the look book!”
Plus, the collection has that model off-duty style spot-on, including a perfect pair of gray sweatpant shorts.
