It’s hard to beat the May 2009 issue of Vogue, but the editorials inside the newest edition are nothing short of amazing.
Lara Stone pairs with Morgan Freeman in an interesting spread which takes Bruce Weber and the duo down to New Orleans for “Takin’ It to the Streets.” “I was so nervous about working with Morgan because I’ve loved his work for forever! Turns out he’s the nicest guy,” said Lara of her experience with the actor. “He’s remarkably relaxed about everything.”
As always, there’s Caroline Trentini jumping in “Pieced Together,” alongside Chanel Iman, Anna Jagodzinska, Lily Donaldson, and Karlie Kloss, shot by Patrick Demarchelier. Karlie does double duty though, as she’s in “Hot Fuzz” by Craig McDean as well, Doutzen Kroes models for “Steal of the Month,” and Gisele Bündchen is in a green organic bikini by Loyale for “Style Ethics.”
But we’re kind of obsessing about Sasha Pivovarova’s spread. She replays her wedding to Igor Vishnyakov in “The Wedding Party,” shot by Arthur Elgort, which even stars members of her own family, including her sister Alyona alongside Jessica Stam, Hana Soukupova, and Irina Kulikova. How cute is her photographer hubby jumping! Did he have lessons beforehand?
