Between Marilyn Agency’s 10th anniversary and Radar Entertainment’s celebration for the second issue of The Last Magazine, it was impossible not to run into a model last night. At Rose Bar, early in the evening, Adriana Lima joined her fellow Marilyn girls, cozying up in one of the couches, along with other party-goers Nicole Fiscella and Nur Khan. Continuing his celebration, Jason Wu stopped by, and discussed his newest model crushes, besides of course, Michelle Obama. “Jourdan Dunn!” he exclaimed. “She’s fabulous, and Arlenis and Eniko! It’s so hard to choose!”
Downtown in Chinatown at Studio, editor/creative director, Magnus Berger brought out his cover girl Natasha Poly to debut the second issue of The Last Magazine. “First of all she’s really beautiful, she always photographs so glamorous,” said Magnus. “We shot everything at the Bowery Hotel, just under the sheets.” The magazine was spread out on the wall, deconstructed for easy viewing. “The shoot was really fast because there was no hair and makeup,” explained Natasha. “They were like, ‘We really want you to feel really natural, like you just woke up.’” The night was a huge send off as everyone’s off to the shows abroad, with guests like Natalia Vodianova, Phillip Lim, Stephen Gan, Jamie Burke, Julia Steger, and Behati Prinsloo, milling about and celebrating The Last Magazine and a last night in the city.
