In anticipation of the Met’s Costume Institute Gala, Modelinia’s Doug Keeve hung out with Heidi Klum while she was primped and dressed at the Mercer Hotel for the big night. Here are a few pictures of Heidi having her hair done and hanging out before getting into her custom-made J.Mendel gown. Gilles designed a couture gown with hand-dyed layers of silk tulle and organza in shades of blue varying from midnight to electric for the supermodel. The edges of the organza were hand-burned and the hand-pleated tulle bodice is trimmed in leather.
