Saturday night was certainly a scene at Vivienne Tam’s Fall 2010 presentation held at the Mercer Street flagship. Guests crammed into the space to see a 20-piece collection inspired by the Chinese zodiac, each garment treated with the intricate details we’ve come to expect from the designer. A standout among the models was Slovakian newcomer Sona Matufkova, who we first saw earlier in the week at Richard Chai Love. Sona made a big impression when she closed the Calvin Klein show last September. Could this be her breakout season? ~ Tim Mitchell
