Tonight is the night! Project Runway finally returns after ages of litigation, and to make up for the lost months sans designer drama Lifetime is giving us Models of the Runway as well! That means Thursday nights are no longer the new Fridays, because you (along with Modelinia) will be glued to the television set.
Heidi Klum’s auffed kisses will return, along with Tim Gunn’s stare of approval or disapproval, but this year we will also have another aspect to the runway drama. In seasons’ past, the models would normally strut in, try on the new clothes, and leave; this season each girl is getting her own voice. And those voices range from giving their own opinions on the designs to sticking up for their partner on the catwalk. We will meet 16 new models: Celine Chua, Ebony Jointer, Emarie Wiltz, Erica Milde, Erika Macke, Fatma Dabo, Kalyn Hemphill, Katie Sticksel, Kojii Helnwein, Lisa Blades, Matar Cohen, Tanisha Harper, Tara Egan, Valerie Roy, Vanessa Fitzgerald, and Yosuzi Sylvester. You know Modelinia will be watching.
