In addition to our new daily shopping stories, Modelinia also has plans to bring you a trend piece each week, divided into the four categories to prove that each style profile can embrace the latest looks. Put simply, everyone can wear a trend piece, but you have to shop very carefully. As with everything that we do here at Modelinia, we’re inspired by the models, so each week, we’ll showcase a model wearing a must-have item, and then shop it for you - one style profile per day.
Through the winter, it’s all about stocking up on sweaters and jackets in order to keep warm, but as the weather changes to spring, those layers turn into outerwear. With the obsession over blazers, the buttoned-up look is an obvious choice, which certainly doesn’t need to be boring!
This week, we were inspired by Jessica Stam in her multi-color tweed blazer, styled over a vintage t-shirt and skinny jeans. We picked out our favorite Rule Breaker, Modern Boho and Classic Sophisticate blazers, and today we’re focusing on Contemporary Chic looks. Though you still keep your outfits a little conservative, there’s a bit more room for innovative design and colors. Go a bit bolder at night and throw a shimmery blazer over a cocktail dress, or give your LBD a bit of punch with stripes.
