Iconic supermodel Twiggy has graced the pages of fashion magazines, campaigns, and covers throughout her memorable career, but she’s now ready for a new phase in her life.
Please meet Twiggy the designer.
Beginning on April 3rd, you can shop Twiggy’s style thanks to HSN, as the model teamed up with the fashion brand to launch Twiggy London, a lifestyle collection which will include clothing, accessories, and footwear.
This collaboration is quite perfect for Twiggy, who always held aspirations to become a designer, and even briefly ventured into the design world in 1966 with her line of dresses for teenagers. “Before I was discovered, I wanted to be a dress designer,” Twiggy said. “I never planned to be a model. It was like a distant dream, but I thought I was much too thin, and much too small and too shy. Then fate took a hand and changed all that, but the obsession with designing and making clothes was always within me.”
In the mix of her collection, you’ll find “all the sort of things I love and love to wear,” she explained, as the line comes straight from her personal style inspiration as well as love for England, including her favorite piece, the patent leather Union Jack tote for $79.90.
