Times Square has never been prettier or more vibrant.
This morning, the models chosen to walk in the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show braved the cold and jam-packed Military Island in Times Square to celebrate the beginning of the winged affair. Alessandra Ambrosio took a second to Twitter a picture of the girls on the tour bus (interestingly sans VS pink), while she and Selita Ebanks wished their congratulations to new mommy and Angel Adriana Lima.
Once the girls arrived, it was a flurry of smiles and poses, as they were all dressed alike in dark skinny jeans, white T-shirts, and leather jackets with rhinestone wing designs on the back. Behati Prinsloo decorated her outfit with accessories all the way down to her fingers, which were decorated with up to eight rings, including her favorite octopus design on her thumb. To prep she watched the first Victoria’s Secret show on YouTube; she also admitted that she’s thrilled about her wings, though they’re really heavy. Miranda Kerr took charge of the camera crews, finding the perfect lighting and positioning, while showing off her encyclopedic VS knowledge about the show’s history. Front and center was Heidi Klum, looking amazing as usual. While she’s super excited about her position as host for the show, she did admit that her favorite onstage moment was singing with her husband. Aw inducing.
We’re pretty sure more than one tourist was a bit confused, but pleased with their morning surprise.
