Vivienne's School Girls

And now, a note from our Fashion Correspondent at London Fashion Week, Camilla Morton:

Westwood and I breathed a sigh of relief as Jourdan Dunn opened the show in a draped denim signature jacket and bustle style mini.  I have to come clean – I am rubbish with names, especially models.  To me there is blondie, spiky, leggy, brunette, reddy, and then the Supermodels whose names I actually know.  The girls came prowling up the runway to a slinky version of the Pink Panthers theme tune with Drum and Bass backbeat.  Interspersed between the models, rockers, and naughty school girls came Jo Woods (sexy yet spurned wife of Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood), Daisy Lowe, having a spot of bother on her heels, and Alice Dellal – all looking for expulsion.  The show was signature Westwood – so aficionados were in heaven – school girls, sports days, a highland fling, and a look at the show notes I was relieved to see I was bang on the money – Ronald Seare’s St. Trinians. (Always like looking at show notes after the event to see how you can totally misinterpret an idea or, indeed how two can combine).  School ties as trilby’s, whistles, and stern headmistresses ready to issue detentions, backcombed ‘dos, and blazers from the High School for Minx’s its time to dig your old school uniform out if you wanna be part of this gang.
