In case you were going through Coco Rocha withdrawal: She has returned to New York City.
“No one knows I’m back in New York,” she said. “Everyone thinks I’m still in Canada!”
Last night, she attended the opening of Saks’ new contemporary space at their New York flagship store, along with fellow Elite models Ali Stephens and Daul Kim, as well as guests Lauren Bush, Mary Kate Olsen, and the boys of Rag & Bone, Marcus Wainright and David Neville.
And how did the newly red-headed beauty spend her first day back in the city? Unpacking, re-dying her hair, and visiting her agents.
“I really didn’t know what to get anybody!” she said. “I got them all Meat in a Can. They have to open it with a can opener and [inside] is a stuffed koala or kangaroo!”
Daul took on DJ responsibility for the night, explaining, “I really like techno and trance so I’m just playing my favorite songs!” And though she was a first-timer, she kept the crowd going until Ali and Coco usurped her. The duo took their spot in the booth and immediately played “Calabri” by Enur, featuring Natasja.
As for Fashion Week news? Expect to see Daul strutting down Anna Sui’s runway!
