Now here’s something we don’t see everyday - famed androgynous male model Andrej Pejic has been invited to visit the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace on October 13th. Why? Because the Queen is hosting a little get-together with Australian natives for her upcoming trip down under and thought the 20-year-old Serbian Australian model would be a perfect addition to the guest list.
Meeting the Queen has never been an easy feat (even a member of European Parliament was denied access), but it seems the Queen has an interest in meeting some of the fashion industry’s most famous models. The Queen! She’s just like us!
The big question on everyone’s mind is what on earth is Andrej going to wear? Not only does he flip back-and-forth between womenswear and menswear, but he’s also been known to wear outlandish outfits that give Lady Gaga a run for her money.
So what will he wear? Buckingham Palace Press Officer Marnie Gaffney said that “guests are welcome to wear whatever they feel comfortable in,” even though Kate and Pippa Middleton are expected to wear close toed shoes and pantyhose. We’re betting on Andrej wearing an eccentric hat and a shifty Dior suit over here at Modelinia, but we’re dying to know what you think the androgynous blonde will don to meet the Queen.
