What to Expect from Erin Wasson

One of Modelinia’s major highlights from last Fashion Week was Erin Wasson’s show for her RVCA line, which took place in the main Tent.

This year fans of her designs are very lucky because Erin’s actually showing on the very first day of Fashion Week. Since we know Thursday is just light years away, here are a few details to keep you satiated until then.

• As you know, she’ll be showing at ABC Carpet & Home, because she fell in love with their ethnic rugs.
• Her invitation was very simple but classy, and set in a very light yellow, almost beige color. The front was decorated with what looks like snowflakes. We’re hoping this isn’t a sign that a blizzard is coming for Fashion Week.
• Her PR sent out a few notes on the collection, reading, “The Erin Wasson x RVCA FW10 collection is all about a relaxed meets vibrant feel, reminiscent of 15th-century gypsy style. Think Jimi Hendrix’s ’70s-rocker flare meeting the lustrous markets of the Middle East like the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.
• LD Tuttle will provide the footwear, which Erin’s models will sport on the runway.
• And of course, her very own jewelry line, LowLuv, will decorate her model’s bodies.
