Walking into the Whitney last night for their annual studio party appeared to be a candlelit affair, as the entrance and atmosphere were overtaken by simple white candles, held in clear white hurricane holders.
As guests finished their dinner upstairs and were serenaded by a performance from Jennifer Hudson, Donatella Versace moved her hosting duties downstairs. Taylor Momsen took over the DJ booth, while Nicole Trunfio (in Michael Angel) and Alexa Chung mingled with guests like Shakira, Lindsay Lohan, Lake Bell, and Gerard Butler.
But last night it was all about playing the game of Which Model Wore the Versace First. Chanel Iman only popped into the late-night party, but we spied the dress that Isabeli Fontana first donned, while Mischa Barton had the blue off-the-shoulder gown that Karlie Kloss wore, Mamie Gummer had a blue moment à la Raquel Zimmermann, Taylor channeled Natasha Poly in her gown with a majorly high slit, and Donatella herself partied in the dress that Kasia Struss showed off on the runway.
