When it comes to fashion, everyone’s a heavy hitter—any given event or fashion show is full of creative designers, inventive editors, and models who make a statement. And the British Fashion Council (BFC) has dedicated a focus to the top tier in the industry and just announced their first list of the 25 most powerful individuals in British fashion.
Between designers like Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, photographer Nick Knight, and casting director Russell Marsh, there are two well-known models on the list: Kate Moss, Erin O’Connor, and Naomi Campbell. No one’s surprised at the nomination—between the two Brit models, there’s a million mentions of their adventures, talent, and dedication to their work. Now we just wait for the winners of the British Fashion Awards, where Georgia May Jagger, Daisy Lowe, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have earned the nominations for Model of the Year.
