Cheerleaders, pack your bags- there’s a new crew here to rule the school. Skate punk, heavy metal, gothic and the straight bizarre have taken stage this season and we like this ‘pretty’ just as much, if not more. From New York to Milan, we have seen our fair share of fresh faces and romantic waves hit the runway, but it’s the rough and tumble girl at Fashion Week that really has us lusting. The good girl has gone bad with neon ombre hair, asymmetrically chopped bangs and severe goth lips- and we can only hope for more ahead with Paris Fashion Week now in full swing.
Showstopper, Chloe Noorgard, commanded all eyes at the Rodarte Fall 2013 show with her acid yellow, highlighter orange and lime green ombre tresses paired with a heavily smudged lower lid liner meant to look like, “mascara that has been applied on the beach.” The “rocker princess” inspired beauty look was achieved with NARS’ dark chocolate, as-yet-unreleased Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via De’Martelli, which was applied in chunky dots under the models’ eyes.
Meanwhile, at Fendi, models like Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss sported punk chic braided fur mohawks in shocking pink, purple, light blue and dark green with severe plum pouts in Chanel’s Rouge Allure Velvet in La Provocante. Rich blackened aubergine nails matched lips in vampy perfection with Le Vernis de Chanel in Vendetta. So whether a rebel, guitar goddess or just a little strange, check out all of our Bad Ass Beauty pics from Fashion Week in the slideshow below:
