There’s a new sweetheart in town. To celebrate our arrival, Modelinia was your Valentine yesterday, taking over New York City in the form of little Necco candy hearts. Each was custom made for models, editors, and fashion elite, with sayings like Lima Love, Kroes Kiss, and Hot Coco.
The mini goodies were at Le Baron for Harley Viera Newton’s DJ set, backstage at the W lounge, in Alexander Wang gift bags, and at Soho Grand, Tribeca Grand, Pop Burger, and LURE as well as Curve, Blue & Cream, and Frederic Fekkai’s SoHo salon. The City Club Hotel went one step further, replacing the typical chocolate on the pillow with a little box of hearts.
Not to be just eye-candy…Charlotte Ronson posed with her hearts before her show on Friday, and Catherine Malandrino was caught eating a few in the W lounge, along with Kimora Lee Simmons, and Nia Long. And of course, the models! Coco Rocha, Ali Stephens, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Damaris Lewis, Gwen Lu, Gemma Stocke, and Alys Hale couldn’t get enough of their Modelinia hearts!
