Born on September 12, 1987, in Sierpc, Poland, Anna got her start at the tender age of 15 when she went to a Polish modeling agency and submitted her pictures. Her breakthrough came in February 2004 when Anna scored top runway shows like Burberry, Prada, and Chanel. She then landed covers of international magazines like Vogue Australia, Vogue Deutsch, and L'Officiel.
After her brief success, she took a two-year hiatus to finish school. Eager to return to the fashion circuit, Anna reemerged in 2008 and her career skyrocketed. In October of that year, she landed the coveted cover Vogue Italia—and she would land another cover for the iconic magazine just months later for the January 2009 issue.
Since then Anna has been one busy girl: She was the most-requested model of Spring 2009, scouring 12 campaigns including Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Donna Karan, Gap, Gianfranco Ferré, and Prada. In May 2009, Anna obtained the most prestigious accomplishment in a model's career: the cover of American Vogue alongside fellow models Raquel Zimmermann, Isabeli Fontana, Caroline Trentini, Natasha Poly, Natalia Vodianova, Liya Kebede, Lara Stone, and Jourdan Dunn.
Recently interviewed by FTV, Anna commented on her catapult success. "It's amazing, such an incredible journey to have in your life. You travel, meet amazing people, you learn so much, and the people you work with are such artists."
In her downtime, Anna enjoys traveling to exotic locations—like the 11-day safari she went on in Tanzania with her grad school-bound boyfriend, Duncan Winecoff.
