Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York, discovered her love for the industry at the young age of 15, and made a quick ascent once she arrived. Not only has she been featured on the pages of Vogue Paris and V Magazine, but by 2009, she achieved the coveted dream of many models and posed for the highly anticipated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition in 2009, 2010 & 2011.

Campaignwise Damaris has served as the face of Bennetton, Clarins, and Yves Saint Laurent makeup, while she's walked on the runways for Barbara Tfank and Elie Tahari and even opened and closed the Spring 2009 Baby Phat show, which was broadcast on a jumbotron in New York City.

But modeling isn't Damaris' only passion. Before she found her calling in the modeling industry, Damaris studied as a dancer, and even attended the prestigious school put on the map by Fame: Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She's used her performing skills not only for Modelinia but also for Essence Magazine online during the Spring 2011 shows.
