From modeling to photography to acting, Daria Strokous is a model of many talents, who wants to do it all! We can’t help but adore this go-getter who is rapidly making a name for herself in all walks of the career field.

Though she was born in Russia, on September 25, 1990, Daria and her family quickly moved to Benin, Africa. At age 17, a scout from IMG discovered her and from then on, her career moved at lightning speed. During her first season at Fashion Week, the newbie managed to book big name shows like Prada and Marni. It wasn’t long before the industry started noticing her look. Daria’s rise continued as Narciso Rodriguez and Zac Posen booked her for their pre-fall shows, while magazines, such as V, featured her as a top model to watch. Daria’s growing popularity landed her the cover of Russian Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Italia as well as editorials in Marie Claire Italia, British Vogue, Vogue España, and Vogue.

Daria also found success in campaigns with major names like D&G and Prada. Her reign on the runway continued as she booked shows for Elie Saab, Antonio Marra, Christian Lacroix, Lanvin, Nina Ricci, and Christian Dior, to name a few.

It’s obvious Daria is a natural model, but this Russian has another passion where she’s equally as talented: photography. What began as capturing models backstage at fashion shows turned into a real passion for Daria. In 2009, she showcased her work in an exhibit where all the proceeds benefited the Art of Elysium’s photography program. Daria also contributed her photography and writing skills to Vogue’s blog when she snapped shots of her fellow counterparts.

It’s clear that Daria has no plans of slowing down anytime soon! This budding photographer already added actress to her ever growing resume. She snagged a lead role in the movie ParAmor and a spot in Steven Soderbergh’s thriller Contagion.

Although Daria is doing it all (very successfully we might add), she is still a hot commodity in the modeling industry, so expect to see more of her in the coming years.
