In addition to earning a rep as one of the hardest-working models in the industry, Erin is a designer, stylist, and muse (to pal/designer Alexander Wang). She also created the LowLuv jewelry collection and worked on a line for RVCA.

Born January 20, 1982, this Irving, Texas, native has a charming "undone" edge to her classic beauty. Erin Wasson’s wardrobe of vintage finds, oversize pieces, and denim cutoffs creates an enviably effortless style—in her own words: "frumpy sexiness."
After winning first place in Kim Dawson's model search in 1999 (her father entered her into the contest), Erin made her fashion world debut in 2000, when she appeared on the Paris and Milan runways for Costume National, Balenciaga, and Givenchy. In top model form, Erin's face quickly graced the covers of Allure, Harper's Bazaar, and Vogue Paris. By 2002, the dirty-blonde 20-year-old was fronting ad campaigns for Roberto Cavalli, D&G, and Maybelline. Earning a reputation as an incredibly hard worker, Erin showed serious stamina walking the runways while appearing in campaigns and on covers for some of the top names in the business—from Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Valentino, and Jil Sander to H&M, Gap, Victoria's Secret, Vogue, Esquire, and Elle. In 2008, Erin appeared in a series of short films for William Rast alongside the brand's cofounder, Justin Timberlake.
Never content with being just a pretty face, Erin has shown off her creativity in several behind-the-scenes ventures. Even before meeting the hazel-eyed stunner, designer Alexander Wang looked to her signature style for inspiration. So when the two serendipitously met in the elevator of the East Village apartment building where they both lived, it was friendship at first sight and Erin became a muse and stylist for Wang. She's also trying her hand at design with the launch of LowLuv, a collection of body chain jewelry inspired by tribal and African art, with a hint of Joan of Arc. Turning to accessories and clothing, Erin lends her unerring taste and carefree sensibility to a multiseason line for RVCA beginning this year.
Since leaving New York, Erin has fallen hard for the laid-back lifestyle of her current California home, where she can walk her dogs, hang with her boyfriend, and drive. Erin also loves vacationing in Hawaii, surfing, and snowboarding—she even has a half-pipe in her backyard.
