Born in Geneva on June 27, 1984, Julie grew up the youngest of four girls. After winning the Madison Agency Model search in Prague, Julie packed her bags and moved to Paris. Within a year, the toothy blonde had landed the cover of French Elle.
Julie made an appearance in a 2002 short film Novela, but the acting bug must have really caught on when she attended the Cannes Film Festival with Iman in 2003. The following year Julie was starring in her first full-length film, the French thriller Inquiétudes. Up next: the Victoria’s Secret catalog, a move that's notorious for putting models on the map. Julie became the face of Chanel's Le Rouge campaign, and balanced booking covers for magazines like Glamour with shooting movies like Flashbacks of a Fool, starring Daniel Craig.
Somewhere in her hectic schedule, Julie joined the list of model mommies. She gave birth to her daughter, Matilda, in Geneva in August of 2009.
